This  Clay cross was made in Metepec, Mexico and has a variety of designs and colors detailed throught the cross. These crosses are finely made and modeled in clay and then hand-painted with great detail. The process of this takes days and sometimes weeks. Each cross is unique and special and will tell a story with the figures you find on it. These figures are either from biblical history or various subjects within Mexican culture & history.
